For most of my life, I believed the answer was always to keep moving.
Another goal.
Another achievement.
Another version of myself.
It wasn’t until I finally slowed down that I realized something I couldn’t ignore.
My life didn’t need more doing.
It needed a different way of seeing.
Before there was The Mindful Edit
I started seeing the same thing everywhere.
In myself.
In friends.
In the women I would eventually coach.
They weren’t lacking motivation.
They weren’t lacking discipline.
Most weren’t even lacking information
They were carrying experiences they had never been given language for.
What I began to notice.
I didn’t create The Mindful Edit because I thought the world needed another coaching business. I created it because I couldn’t stop noticing something.
Again and again, I met women who were intelligent, capable, and deeply self aware, yet still felt disconnected from themselves. They weren’t missing motivation, or discipline, most weren’t even missing information.
They were carrying experiences they had never been given language for.
They knew something felt off, but couldn’t explain why.
They kept searching for answers when what they really needed was space to notice what had been there all along.
That’s what The Mindful Edit became.
A space to slow down, to pay attention differently.
To find language for what has quietly been shaping your life.
Because once you can name what’s happening, you can begin tot change how you experience it, not by becoming someone new.
But by coming home to who you’ve been underneath the noice all along.
That’s why I created The Mindful Edit.
Meet the founder behind The Mindful Edit.
Hi, I’m Cydney!
Before creating The Mindful Edit, I spent years as a pediatric nurse, later stepped away from bedside nursing, and eventually found myself in a much quieter season caring for a young family.
On paper, those chapters couldn’t have looked more different. But looking back, I can see they were all teaching me the same thing.
People rarely need someone to rush in with answers.
They need someone willing to slow down long enough to notice what others often miss.
Behind every symptom was a person.
Behind every question was often another one waiting to be asked.
That way of paying attention never left me.
When I later trained as a life coach, I realized I had found a different way to do what had always come naturally to me, not to give people answers, but to help them uncover the ones they already carried within themselves.
That’s why every conversation at The Mindful Edit begins the way:
Not with fixing, not with pushing, not with another strategy.
It begins with by paying attention.
I don’t believe transformation begins with becoming someone new.
I believe it begins with learning to noice yourself differently.
That’s the work we do together.

Outside of Coaching
You’ll usually find me at an early morning Pilates class, taking a walk outside with my matcha, traveling with my husband, snuggling up with our dog or collecting small moments that remind me life is often more beautiful then we notice.
